What is the Next Generation Leadership Program?
The Next Generation Leadership Programme (NGLP), formerly Catholic Scholarship Program (CSP) is a transformational leadership development program for new and existing leaders in the African Church designed to help build their leadership skills and competencies through servant leadership and foster a culture of Synodality.
Who can participate in Next Generation Leadership Program?
Though it originally targeted religious and lay persons, the programme leadership courses are open to congregational leadership, episcopal conferences, and religious associations.
What topics are covered in the Next Generation Leadership Program?
In addition to the academic courses, scholarship recipients must also complete four additional leadership courses provided through the NGLP. These include:
- Servant Leadership,
- Child Protection and Safeguarding,
- Executive Leadership and Management,
- Catholic Social Thought.

Who teaches the Next Generation Leadership Program?
Our Catholic leadership training program is taught by experienced and knowledgeable instructors who are experts in their field. The NGLP is hosted in three universities across the region: Tangaza University College in Kenya, Mwenge Catholic University in Tanzania and University of Kisubi in Uganda.
Is the Next Generation Leadership Program available online?
No, we do not offer online classes for now.
