Dr. Father Paul Ngayomela, a member of the Precious Blood Missionaries, is a shining example of the impact of the Next Generation Leadership Program in Tanzania. This scholarship programme has not only transformed his life but also empowered him to serve his community and the wider world.
Dr. Ngayomela’s journey began when he learned about the scholarship programme. Inspired by the opportunity to pursue postgraduate studies, he applied and was fortunate enough to be selected for the programme.
During his time in the program, Dr. Ngayomela received comprehensive training in leadership, Catholic values, and servant leadership. He was also actively involved in various seminars and workshops, where he often served as a chairman, demonstrating his leadership potential.
Upon completing his postgraduate studies, Dr. Ngayomela returned to Tanzania and has been making significant contributions to his community. He currently serves as the Department Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Bugando Medical Center, where he is dedicated to providing quality healthcare to women and children.
Dr. Ngayomela is also a champion of minimal invasive surgeries, a field that he is passionate about. He is actively working to promote the adoption of these advanced surgical techniques at Bugando Medical Center, which will benefit countless patients.
